A MESSAGE FROM JAN MATHER
On Wednesday, June 4, 2025, Tom Mather and me, Jan Mather, would have been married 54 years. Years over flowing with so many blessings and some difficult, challenging times. The Scripture verse we took as our life verse when we married is Hebrews 13:8 “Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever.” This verse emphasizes the immutability of Jesus Christ, meaning He remains consistent with His character and nature throughout time. It encourages believers in Him t trust in His unwavering nature as a source of comfort and stability. We held that verse very close to us as we did what we felt God was leading us.
When I was diagnosed with cancer in 1981 and given very little hope of surviving, God led us in a different path of healing. First trusting Him as the Great Physician then following a path of natural health that built my body and cleared the disease from my body. In the process, Tom studied and became a Naturopathic Dr. He had always lobed the medical world and at one time wanted to be a medical doctor but God led him to go to Bible College and become and ordained minister.
As the years progressed, after 4 of the best children God could have created, we progressed to having an office in our home and seeing people who also wanted natural help with their health. We have made more friends than we ever thought possible. Many people who were in different ministries all over the world and had to leave that ministry because of illness came to see him for help and were able to return to their ministries because their health improved.
Unfortunately, Tom’s health began to fail in the past few years. He had heart problems since he was a child and with the grace of God and changing our life style, he almost made it to his 75th birthday. The last morning, he was with us, the nurses were getting him ready for the day, he couldn’t talk much but suddenly he said, “I feel better!” And his heart stopped. God healed him and took him home.
Ten years ago, our son Benjamin, began working with his Dad and is now extending the Legacy of Health his Dad started for anyone who desires help. We desire to be available twenty four – seven if needed, but the office hours are Monday through Friday nine to six.
